This is simosuchus, a ancient dog-size crocodilian that lived in Madagascar around 66 million years ago. While it is related to crocodiles, it's diet is the complete opposite as it is a vegetarian. I chose to craft the animal in a more alert pose since back during Late Cretaceous Madagascar, it was a tough environment filled with predators. The material I used includes daz airy dry clay for the base (obviously not ideal but this was one of my first sculptures). As for the base, it consists of a spray painted wooden board, leaf assortment, dirt piled on with aquarium safe silicone and fake ferns.
